Restless Leg SyndromeRestless Leg Syndrome (RLS) is a wretched little incubus of a nervous system disorder that feels like an “itch”, or just a plain old “creepy feeling ” under the skin. Usually worse when sitting or lying in bed, it can make you feel like you’re going crazy because all the twitching around is of no help whatever.

I’m talking to lots of people of late with Restless Leg Syndrome, and one woman emailed me that her RLS was better in a week after taking the MNF and BILICA formulas plus the Vervain. The “creepy crawly” feelings and urges to move the legs abated, and she was able to sleep better again and feel rested in the mornings. She had no Hot Flashes either, since she started the combo of the E:V, 50/50 and Blend F formulas – all worth it right there.

Though causes are unknown, I’ve noticed during the last couple of decades or so, that it is very common and is often a side effect of some prescription drugs – especially those that affect healthy muscle function, like diuretics.  There are many others as well.

How to Use the Herbal Formulas to Calm Restless Leg Syndrome

Rule of thumb is… increase your MNF or Cramp Bark to an acute dose for a few days and add the Vervain and BILICA at dinner to begin the pacifying of the muscles and nerves a couple of hours before bed. If you are needing a diuretic, like hydrochlorothiazide, or similar meds, try the O/N formula instead for a while. Usually, that will do it. If not, we can add the acute dose of the AR+, since this formula’s anti-inflammatory properties will also help.

If you get as frustrated as I do with all this aging business and realize that our favorite things are no longer viewed as favorites by our bodies, remember Woody Allen’s quote for a little giggle: “You can live to be a hundred if you give up all the things that make you want to live to be a hundred.”

If Spring Allergies have got you sneezing and itchy-eyed…

Even though the usual spring allergies this year are truly a display of wrath in the grand manner, they are still no match for the Aller-Total and Bactotox combination, even those that commonly turn into bronchitis. The blooms are certainly gorgeous, though, to make it worthwhile.

Thank you so much to the following people for referring our phone consultations and herbs: Robin Aveni, Tricia Donnelly, Diane Paulson, Darlene Polidoro, Hope Rivera, Miriam Schorr, Ali Subotnick and Veronica Valles.

Enjoy spring and I hope you will join me in my rain dances (mind those joints) as the lakes and rivers are still looking a bit needy.

Wishing you abundance in health and joy,

Doc Eve
